Erasmus+ KA171: a new stage of international cooperation

On 2 February 2026, Ismet Dilaver, a PhD student from 1 Decembrie 1918 University of Alba Iulia, visited Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU).
The visit is carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 international academic exchange project.

The guest was warmly welcomed by D. Isroilova, Head of the Department of English Applied Sciences №1, project coordinator H. Avilova, and the department’s faculty members.

Ismet Dilaver emphasized that he has already carried out academic activities under the Erasmus+ program eight times and that this is his first visit to Central Asia.
At UzSWLU, he will conduct a one-month research in American Literature.
Seminars for students on European educational practices and participation in academic conferences are also planned.

In addition, Khojiakbar Ziynatshoyev, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of English Language №1, will study at the partner university for one semester during the second semester of the current academic year under academic mobility.
