On November 29, a small event was held among students on the topic “Sustainable and modern energies” on the initiative of Feruz Nizamov and Nozanin Pirnazarova, teachers of the Department No. 3 of Applied Sciences at the Uzbekistan State  of World Languages University on the implementation of Route 7 of the BRM “ Cheap and clean energy”.

Access to electricity and clean fuel has improved in many parts of the world, but 675 million people are still off-grid, and 2.3 billion use hazardous and polluting fuels for cooking.

As of 2030, the Government of Uzbekistan seeks to reduce the energy consumption of the economy by almost 50 percent, as well as to ensure the use of affordable, reliable, stable and modern energy sources for everyone. To this end, state programs are being implemented aimed at modernizing energy-intensive sectors of the economy.
