From May 15 to May 19, 2026, a series of lessons and events aimed at teaching English and developing practical communication skills were organized in general education schools in cooperation with the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

In particular, on May 15, 2026, an English language festival titled “Uplifting Confidence through English Communication” was held at Secondary School No. 164 in the Chilanzar district. The event was organized by lecturers of the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology, Nigora Sultonova and Shahlo Samanova, with the participation of graduating students. The festival, based on competitions and interactive tasks, included stage performances, artistic presentations, and team-based activities. At the end of the event, participants were fairly evaluated by the jury and awarded accordingly.

On May 18, 2026, another English club session was conducted at Secondary School No. 283. The lesson was led by S. Mannonova, a lecturer at the Department of Theoretical English Studies of the Faculty of English Philology, together with 4th-year students S. Boynazarova and N. Rustamova. During the lesson dedicated to the topic “Dream Job”, students learned new vocabulary and expressions related to dream professions, practiced speaking about their future plans in English, and developed their reading and listening skills. In addition, the grammar topic “Personal Pronouns” was reinforced through practical exercises.

On May 19, 2026, another English club session was held at Secondary School No. 41 in the Shaykhantakhur district. The lesson was conducted under the guidance of S. Rakhmonova, a lecturer at the Department of Practical English Studies No. 2 of the Faculty of English Language, together with first-year students of group 2524 Tojiboyeva Hurmatoy, Rakhmonkulova Aziza, and Olimova Jasmina. During the lesson titled “One last lesson, one last fun”, students reviewed previously studied topics, participated in English-language games, and analyzed homework assignments. At the end of the session, active participants were awarded commemorative gifts and certificates of appreciation.

These activities contributed to increasing students’ interest in the English language, developing their communicative competencies, and strengthening practical language skills.
