In the afternoon of December 4, the rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, I. Tuxtasinov, took part in a round-table discussion on “The Development of Artificial Intelligence and Korean Language Teaching in Uzbekistan.” The event was also attended by the Chair of the Education Committee of the National Assembly of Korea, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Korea, as well as U. Begimqulov, Director of the OTMKIC.
I. Tuxtasinov provided information about the efforts being made at UzSWLU to train qualified specialists in the Korean language, the effective cooperation and projects established with Korean universities, the Korea Education Center in Uzbekistan, and the KOICA organization. He also shared his proposals for improving the learning and teaching of the Korean language.
The participants expressed high appreciation for the ongoing efforts to develop Korean language teaching and stated their readiness to support this activity in the future.
After that, Rector I. Tuxtasinov took part in the forum’s sectional meeting and a B2B-session with a presentation titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Process of Education Globalization.” The participants discussed the issues reviewed within the forum, including prospects for further development of mutual cooperation.
