2026-05-12 11-52 International Academic Cooperation Continues within the Erasmus+ Programme
From May 4 to 8, 2026, Iroda Turamuratova, Head of the Department of Theoretical Disciplines of the Spanish Language at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, is participating in an official visit to the University of Alicante in Spain within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility programme.
During the visit, she actively participated in training sessions, scientific seminars, and academic meetings organized by the Faculty of Philology. In addition, she attended classes conducted by professors and lecturers of the host university, gaining insight into modern pedagogical technologies, interactive teaching methods, and advanced international practices.
Iroda Turamuratova also conducted practical classes for university students on intercultural communication. The sessions focused on establishing effective communication with representatives of different cultures, understanding national and cultural values, and developing tolerance and intercultural competencies.
Within the framework of this academic exchange programme, the representatives of the two higher education institutions discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the exchange of experience in education and research, the development of joint projects, and the introduction of innovative approaches into the educational process.
