International Academic Cooperation within the Erasmus+ Program Reaches a New Stage

From May 4 to 8, 2026, Iroda Turamuratova, Head of the Department of Theoretical Spanish Language Disciplines at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, is on an official visit to the University of Alicante (Spain) within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility program.

During the first days of the visit (May 4–5), the parties held comprehensive discussions on further developing cooperation between the two higher education institutions, strengthening academic ties, and implementing promising joint projects. In particular, the following areas were addressed:

– introduction of joint educational programs;
– expansion of student and faculty exchange;
– deepening cooperation in research activities;
– continued active participation in Erasmus+ and other international grant projects;
– organization of professional development programs for teaching staff.

This visit represents an important step toward elevating cooperation between the two universities to a new level, exchanging advanced pedagogical practices, and improving the quality of education in line with international standards.
