On October 7, a meeting took place in Jaipur, India, with Dr. Manish Ranjan, a professor at Banasthali University and the responsible officer for international cooperation, along with A. Nasirov, the Vice-Rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (O‘zDJU), and Nazira Ro‘ziboyeva, a lecturer in the Department of Roman-German Languages and Translation Studies.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between universities were discussed, focusing primarily on foreign language teaching (French, English, German), journalism, and other promising fields.
Additionally, a proposal was made to establish a center aimed at promoting the Uzbek language at Banasthali University and to teach Uzbek to students. Furthermore, the suggestion was made to implement a student exchange program to facilitate the exchange of professors and researchers between the two institutions and to create opportunities for youth to discover each other's cultural and educational wealth.
Moreover, the presentation of the book titled “Incredible India, Incredible Festivals,” co-authored by Nazira Ro‘ziboyeva and Dr. Ranjan, was one of the key highlights of the visit. A. Nasirov, the university's Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, expressed hope for the emergence of new effective collaborations in the near future.
