Literary-Educational Evening Held at UzSWLU as Part of the “Crucial 90 Days” Project
On June 23, another meaningful event titled “Devotees of the Motherland” was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University as part of the “Crucial 90 Days” project.
The event took place in the university’s Information and Library Center in cooperation with the Uchtepa District Administration of Tashkent City and the local branch of the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.
The literary evening gathered UzSWLU professors, active students, and spiritual educators. The works of prominent Jadid literature figures promoting national awakening, enlightenment, and patriotism were thoroughly analyzed.
The audience was introduced to the following literary works:
• Munavvar qori Abdurashidkhanov – “Laziness Is Our Enemy”
• Abdulla Avloniy – “To Love the Homeland”
• Abdurauf Fitrat – “The Nation’s Grief”
These works reflected the dedication of Uzbek Jadids to the causes of nation, homeland, and spiritual values, as well as their inspiring legacy that encourages youth to pursue knowledge and enlightenment.
Professors and students emphasized the importance of such literary and educational events in enriching young people’s thinking and helping them understand their historical and national identity.
The event also featured a book presentation, stage performances, and open discussions. At the end, participants were presented with memorable gifts.
