“Meeting between the Rector and Youth” continues at UzSWLU

On October 9, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University held another session within the framework of the “Rector and Youth Meeting” initiative.

During the event, UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov had a sincere conversation with first-year students of the evening programs from the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology and the Faculty of Oriental Philology.

The rector provided detailed information about the university’s educational process, international cooperation programs, opportunities for research activities, as well as students’ rights and responsibilities. He encouraged young people to be knowledgeable, inquisitive, proactive, and patriotic.

The deans of faculties, vice-rectors, and department heads also took part in the meeting, answering students’ questions related to academic studies, internships, dormitory life, and other pressing issues.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format, giving students the opportunity to adapt more quickly to university life, communicate directly with the administration, and share their suggestions.
