On September 11, a meeting on the prevention of crime and offenses was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The event was opened by Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, who emphasized the importance of improving students’ legal literacy, fostering respect for the law, and the significance of ongoing reforms in preventing crime.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Dilmurod Mirsadiqov, Head of the Uchtepa District Department for Coordination of Internal Affairs, Colonel Bakhodir Haqnazarov, First Deputy Head of the Department, and Lieutenant Colonel Abdurashid Ochilov.
During the dialogue, issues such as promoting a healthy lifestyle, preventing drug addiction, the negative consequences of offenses in cyberspace, and effective ways to combat them were widely discussed.
Officials explained the serious threats and consequences of drug abuse for society and outlined the legal and social mechanisms for combating this issue. Students also received practical advice on safe behavior in the digital space, protection against cybercrime, and the secure use of social media.
The event was held in an open-dialogue format, where students asked questions and shared their opinions and suggestions, receiving detailed and well-reasoned answers from the speakers.
This meeting became an important step in strengthening students’ legal awareness and social responsibility, as well as in building strong immunity against crime and negative social phenomena.
