MEETING HELD AT UZSWLU AS PART OF COOPERATION WITH KOREAN ORGANIZATIONS

A meeting was held at the Korean Culture and Education Center with the participation of D. Djurayev, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, M. Absalomov, Head of the Department of Korean Philology, Kwak Yong Jin, Head of IIR TECH Inc., and Kim Bok Hee, Head of KIDC.

The meeting focused on the development of a modern Korean language textbook based on artificial intelligence technologies, which is being developed through cooperation between the Department of Korean Philology and the KOKOA platform. Participants shared proposals and recommendations regarding the project’s content, educational potential, and effective use.

The participants also exchanged views on conducting MOCK TOPIK practice tests for students of Korean Philology, their content, as well as identifying students’ level of Korean language proficiency based on the test results and improving the educational process.

One of the important practical outcomes of the meeting was the presentation of 2,000 vouchers by Kwak Yong Jin, Head of IIR TECH Inc., to D. Djurayev, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology. The vouchers provide Korean Philology students with free access for 100 days to KOKOA TOPIK, an AI-powered platform for preparing for the TOPIK examination.

This initiative will expand opportunities for Korean Philology students to learn Korean, prepare effectively for the TOPIK examination, and use modern digital and artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process.
