Meeting Held Between Representatives of Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Keimyung University (South Korea)

A meeting was held between representatives of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and Keimyung University of South Korea.

The event was attended by Dr. Seon Jung Kim, Vice President for International Cooperation at Keimyung University; Prof. Sun Jin Park, Professor of Asian Studies; Project Coordinator Dae Eun Kim; A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at UzSWLU; D. Djurayev, Dean of the Faculty of Eastern Philology; G. Ergasheva, Dean of English Faculty 1; M. Ogay, Specialist at the International Cooperation Department; and O. Akhmedov, Korean language instructor at the Faculty of Eastern Philology.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

• Development of a joint educational program between the two universities;

• Organization of professional development courses for Korean language teachers;

• Establishment of a Summer Language Camp for students studying Korean;

• And other mutually interesting issues.
