“Meeting of the Rector and Students” Held at UzSWLU

On September 17, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted the event “Meeting of the Rector and Students.”

University Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov held a sincere conversation with first-year students of the Faculty of English Philology No. 2 and congratulated them on the beginning of the new academic year. He provided information about the university’s facilities, academic and spiritual opportunities, and international cooperation programs. He also encouraged students to be knowledgeable, inquisitive, and patriotic, wishing them success.

Dean of the Faculty of English Philology No. 2, Zokir Bazarov, also addressed the students, speaking about the faculty’s activities, educational process, and conditions created for students. He urged students to be proactive and answered their questions.

The university’s vice-rectors and representatives of the administration also took part in the event, giving first-year students important advice and recommendations. This meeting became not only a source of new knowledge for them but also an important guide for quickly adapting to university life.
