Meeting with the Head of Leading Korean Educational Companies

Today, Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) hosted a meeting with Ms. Chungrim Han, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Korean companies Englishunt and EduLink Global.

The companies specialize in English language assessment, test preparation, and the organization of online mock tests using artificial intelligence technologies. Their activities in Uzbekistan began within the preschool and school education systems, where pilot testing has already been conducted among school students. Ms. Han’s objective is to launch pilot testing of higher education assessment tools with the participation of UzSWLU students, recognizing the university as a leading institution in language education in Uzbekistan, and subsequently expand the initiative to universities across the country.

Representing the university were A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, N. Ibragimov, Head of the Academic and Methodological Department, X. Yuldashev, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and G. Rahimov, Professor of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the capabilities of electronic platforms designed for English language learning and the administration of mock tests for university students. They also exchanged views on the organizational and financial aspects of establishing an English Language Testing and Certification Center at UzSWLU, as well as on professional development opportunities for English and Korean language teachers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to consider mutually beneficial proposals aimed at strengthening educational cooperation and implementing joint projects in the future.
