Memorandum Signed Between UzSWLU and Chinese Companies

On August 20 this year, a meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with representatives of the Chinese companies Tang International Education Group and Tang International Education and Technology.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of a Future Competency Centre, an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and an HSK Chinese Language Testing Center at UzSWLU. The meeting also addressed professional development programs for faculty members at higher education institutions in the People’s Republic of China, as well as short-term practical training and internship programs for students.

 

 

Li Jinsong, President of Tang International Education Group, emphasized the need to establish a working group following the signing of the memorandum, discuss the organizational and financial aspects of cooperation, identify professions that are in high demand, and develop relevant proposals.

According to him, based on the needs of UzSWLU, the company will assist in identifying partners among higher education and vocational education institutions and industrial enterprises in China, as well as in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with them.

A. Nasirov, Vice-Rector of UzSWLU for International Cooperation, expressed the university leadership’s readiness to support these initiatives and ensure effective cooperation. Particular attention was paid to allocating the necessary premises for the centers, creating appropriate conditions for the specialists to be involved, and developing cooperation in the agreed areas.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum was signed between Tang International Education Group and the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

 

 

Following the meeting, accompanied by D. Djuraev, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology, the guests visited the premises that may be allocated for the centers planned to be established in the future.
