The Spring Festivities Continue...

On April 10th, an event celebrating the traditional Sumalak festival was organized by the Department of Media Linguistics and Communication at the Faculty of International Journalism, Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

Starting early in the morning, the celebration brought a warm spring atmosphere, joy, and happiness to the faculty. Students set up a national corner with our traditional dishes, preparing a table full of treats. The event was enriched with music, songs, dances, and national games, which added a special charm to the celebration.

Representatives of the university administration, led by Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, also attended the event.

The rector emphasized the importance of continuing such traditions for many years and highlighted that the celebration is a symbol of unity, peace, and hospitality, values that are characteristic of our nation.

The Sumalak festival at the Faculty of International Journalism is still ongoing in a joyful and lively spirit.
