On April 9, a meeting was held between Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the National Center of Chinese Culture in Tashkent, and representatives of the Uzbekistan-China Trade Association.

The guests were welcomed by the university administration led by Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov.

The meeting was attended by Yan Yaoyong, Chairman of the National Center of Chinese Culture in Tashkent; Liu Dewen, Honorary Chairman of the Uzbekistan-China Trade Association; Lin Guoshun, Executive Chairman; Chen Hong, Chairman; and Zhang Hongde, Vice Chairman of the Association.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of attracting students from China to Uzbekistan State World Languages University. In addition, plans were made to build a special dormitory for Chinese students in cooperation with the Faculty of Russian Philology at the university.

At the end of the meeting, mutually beneficial agreements were reached by both parties.
