On February 25, the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilxomjon Tuxtasinov, reviewed the preparations for an educational event aimed at raising awareness of the negative consequences of offenses, drug abuse, and drug-related crimes, and first of all held a meeting with students.

 

 

During the meeting, the provisions and significance of Presidential Decree No. PF-207 of the Republic of Uzbekistan were explained to students in detail. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of implementing the decree in the lives of young people, the need for early prevention, and the enhancement of legal awareness and culture.

Subsequently, in order to implement the targeted preventive measures in practice, a visit for students to Manzil Colony No. 51 was organized. During the visit, detailed information was provided on the impact of crime on individuals, families, and society, preventive measures, and the importance of improving legal culture. In particular, the severe consequences of crimes related to narcotic drugs and psychoactive substances were explained using real-life examples.

The event was attended by the Head of the Educational Affairs Unit of Manzil Colony No. 51 of the 1st Regional Territorial Department of JIED under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Captain Abduraimov Lutfulla Payzullayevich, as well as the university’s prevention inspector M. Nurmukhamedova, who provided comprehensive explanations to young people about the consequences of offenses, the importance of meaningful use of leisure time, and legal literacy.
