On February 4, a Scientific Council meeting was held dedicated to the defense of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertation in Philology. The meeting was conducted both offline and via the ZOOM platform
At the meeting, a dissertation on the specialty 10.00.04 – “Languages and Literatures of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia” entitled “The Artistic Specificity of the Historical Novel Genre in Hilary Mantel’s Trilogy” was defended for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Philology.

During the defense, the official opponents presented their comments and scholarly conclusions.
Members of the Scientific Council held discussions on the dissertation topic, highlighting its relevance as well as its theoretical and practical significance.
