On January 18, an important meeting took place at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

The meeting was attended by the rector of the university, I.M. Tukhtasinov, university officials, the head of the "TRAVEL TOGETHER" travel agency, and responsible employees of a Chinese tourism agency. The purpose of the meeting was to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 269 dated July 18, 2024, “Measures to Improve the System of Training Personnel in the Tourism Sector.”

The meeting discussed issues related to the development of cooperation in the fields of education and tourism. In particular, the exchange of professors, teachers, and students, the training of guides and interpreters, as well as the development of joint programs and projects were raised.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a bilateral memorandum. This is certainly an important step in strengthening the ties between the education and tourism sectors, creating new opportunities, and developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
