On January 29, an artistic event was held at UzSWLU in collaboration with the Indian Cultural Center.

The event was attended by the Director of the Indian Cultural Center, Shrinivasan, the Education Adviser of the Indian Embassy in Uzbekistan, Kirti Singh Rawat, and the Indian volunteer teacher, Manish Mishra.

The guests were welcomed by representatives of the university administration, and the event was opened by the rector of UzSWLU, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov. In his speech, the rector discussed the development of cooperation between the university and the Indian Cultural Center, as well as the opportunities being created for students.

Then, the Director of the Indian Cultural Center, Mr. Shrinivasan, took the floor and spoke about the importance of cultural and academic exchange, as well as the collaboration in language and art between the two countries.

The artistic part of the event featured Indian national dances, poetry in Hindi, and a quiz related to India. Additionally, both Indian and Uzbek dances were performed, leaving a strong impression on the participants.

During the event, the winners of the essay competition were awarded. The guests were also presented with souvenir gifts on behalf of the university.

At the end of the event, the guests were introduced to the Hindi Language Center and were escorted by university representatives.
