On January 30, a regular scientific and practical seminar was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages for PhD students, doctoral candidates, and independent researchers

The seminar was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of UzSWLU, O. Y. Yusupov, who emphasized the importance of strict adherence to international standards in scientific activity, publication ethics, and the correct management of citation indicators.

Within the framework of the seminar, the following topical and practically significant issues were discussed:

“H-index and citation metrics in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases as measurement standards in scientific research”

“Writing a scientific article based on IMRAD requirements”

The seminar was conducted in both offline format and online via the ZOOM platform. During the event, participants received clear practical recommendations on publishing articles in international scientific databases, developing citation indicators, and preparing high-quality scientific papers based on the IMRAD structure.

At the end of the seminar, participants received detailed answers from experts to their questions and gained essential methodological guidance for effectively organizing the process of preparing and publishing scientific articles.
