On June 25, another successful meeting with foreign partners was held at the Roman-German Philology Faculty of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

Guests from Mexico — Ms. Dora Elia Pinedo Fernández and Ms. Ludim Marlet Gutiérrez Gómez — were warmly welcomed by the Department of Applied Spanish Sciences team led by Chairperson Dilrabo Keldiyorovna Baxronova. During the meeting, discussions were held on:

• the education systems of both countries,

• national and cultural heritage, literature, and history,

• foreign language teaching methodologies,

• approaches in translation studies.

The guests donated valuable resources related to the Mexican education system, methodological approaches, and literature to the department’s collection. This became a successful outcome aligned with targeted indicators for attracting foreign investments.

Cooperation between UzSWLU and Mexico’s UAEMex University has been ongoing consistently since 2020. Online classes, seminars, conferences, and mutual visits of faculty members over the years demonstrate the solid foundation of these ties.

Exchange of knowledge, experience, and culture is the basis for sustainable development! Clear agreements were reached on implementing joint projects and deepening scientific and educational cooperation in the future.
