On June 27, the Uzbek State University of World Languages held its next Extended Departmental Scientific Discussion.

During the academic seminar, the dissertation of researcher Dilorom Ubaydullayevna Mirsagatova, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences under the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, was discussed. The dissertation is titled: “Comparative Aspects of Railway Terminology in English and Uzbek Languages.”

During the seminar, the researcher presented the results of her study within the scope of the topic, emphasized its novelty, and provided well-founded answers to the questions raised by seminar participants. The discussion concluded successfully, and the work was recommended for the next stage.
