On May 12, a meeting of the Scientific Council for the defense of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertation in Philological Sciences was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The event was organized both offline and via the ZOOM online platform.

At the meeting, Muhayyo Nasirovna Raupova defended her PhD dissertation in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Comparative Linguistics, and Translation Studies, titled “The Phenomenon of Transformation in English-Uzbek Translation: A Linguoculturological Study.”

During the discussion, the researcher presented the findings of her study within the scope of the topic, highlighted its scientific novelty, and provided well-reasoned answers to the questions posed by the members of the academic seminar.
