On October 15, a roundtable discussion titled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
 

The event was attended by I. Junadullayev, senior academic specialist of the Tashkent Islamic Institute, Rector of UzSWLU I. Tuxtasinov, heads of departments, deans and deputy deans of faculties, gender affairs officers, psychologists, and students.

During the discussion, it was noted that today, ignorance and illiteracy have become the root causes of growing extremism and terrorism around the world, which threaten global peace and attempt to influence young people’s minds by spreading destructive ideologies.
It was also emphasized that such events are organized to raise awareness and encourage vigilance among students.

The roundtable took place in an engaging question-and-answer format. Students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
