Memorandums of Understanding Signed Between UzSWLU and Sports Institutions

On April 16, 2025, memorandums of cooperation and joint activity were signed between the Uzbek State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and a number of sports institutions.

The event took place at UzSWLU. It was attended by the university’s rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov and the heads of various sports schools and centers.

Cooperation memorandums were signed with the following institutions:

• Sports School No. 1 of Uchtepa District, Tashkent

• Sports School No. 2 of Uchtepa District, Tashkent

• Sports School of Chilanzar District, Tashkent (two separate agreements)

• Republican Center for Preparation in Olympic and Paralympic Sports

These documents aim to promote a healthy lifestyle among youth, integrate sports and education, organize joint cultural, educational, and sports events, and provide students with opportunities for internships and volunteering.

Specifically, the memorandum signed with the Republican Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports includes plans for scientific research, professional development courses, and joint seminars and training sessions in the field of sports.

During the event, Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov emphasized the importance of this cooperation, stating that such initiatives are a crucial step toward raising a healthy and well-rounded younger generation.
