2026-08-10 06-06 PhD Dissertation Defense Held at O‘zDJTU
A dissertation defense for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
On August 10, Tohir Egamshukurovich Alimov defended his dissertation entitled “Semantic and Functional Features of Everyday Vocabulary in the Uzbek, German, and Russian Languages” under specialty 10.00.13 – Comparative and Contrastive Linguistics.
The defense was attended by University Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov and official opponents.
During the defense, opinions and comments were expressed regarding the relevance of the dissertation topic, its scientific novelty, and the research findings. The researcher also answered questions raised by the participants.
