PhD Dissertation Defense Held at UzSWLU

On April 18, a PhD dissertation defense in Philology was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University by Farangiz Umarova, daughter of Bakhriddin.

The topic of the dissertation: “The Artistic Interpretation of Society and Women’s Relations in Contemporary English and Uzbek Prose (A Case Study of David Nicholls’ One Day and Iqbol Mirzo’s Bonu)”.

The event was attended by the university rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, official opponents, and members of the Academic Council. During the defense, the relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance of the research were thoroughly discussed.
