PhD Dissertation Defense in Pedagogical Sciences Held

On December 11, 2025, at UzSWLU, a meeting of the Academic Council dedicated to the defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences was held both offline and via the ZOOM online platform.

At the meeting, Shoirakhon Ismatovna Baybabayeva defended her PhD dissertation titled “Improving the Discursive Competence of Future English Language Specialists through the ‘Flipped Learning’ Technique,” specializing in 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Upbringing (English Language).

During the defense, the academic advisor and official opponents participated actively, raising scientific questions, suggestions, and comments regarding the dissertation. The meeting was organized in accordance with established procedures, and the dissertation materials were thoroughly discussed.

Members of the Academic Council reviewed the aims and results of the research, and the final decision was formalized as required by current legislation.
