PhD Dissertation Defense in Pedagogical Sciences Held

On January 21, a regular dissertation defense for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences was held. The defense was organized at a meeting of the Academic Council of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University in an offline format, as well as via the ZOOM online platform.

The meeting of the Academic Council was attended by Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Official opponents also took part in the dissertation defense, presenting their scientific conclusions and raising questions regarding the research.

During the meeting, the dissertation of Qodirova Gavhar Alisher qizi, written for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.02 — Theory and Methodology of Education and Upbringing (English language), entitled “Improving the Methodology of Teaching English to Future Engineers Based on the Priority of Learning Motivation,” was defended.

During the defense, the relevance, scientific novelty, practical significance, and conclusions of the dissertation were thoroughly discussed.

Following the discussions conducted by the members of the Academic Council, the dissertation was positively evaluated, and an appropriate decision was made to award Qodirova Gavhar Alisher qizi the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences.
