PhD Dissertation Defense in Philological Sciences Took Place

On January 20, at a meeting of the Academic Council under the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the dissertation written by Ilxom Oblakulovich Ziyadullayev for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Philological Sciences was defended.

The dissertation, entitled “Verbocentric Features of Verbal Neologisms in the German Language”, was conducted within the specialty 10.00.04 — Languages and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia.

The defense session was organized both offline and via the ZOOM online platform. The university rector Tuxtasinov and the official opponents participated in the session.

The official opponents presented their evaluations and conclusions regarding the dissertation.

Following the discussions, the relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance of the research were recognized, and the doctoral candidate’s scholarly work was positively assessed.
