PhD Dissertation Discussion Held at UzSWLU

On December 9, 2025, a PhD dissertation discussion was held at the Department of Theoretical Aspects of the English Language–1 of the Faculty of English Language–1 at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU).

At the departmental meeting, the dissertation by Amirqulova Nargiza Amirqul qizi entitled “Cognitive, Semantic and Pragmatic Features of Compound Words within Phraseological Units (Based on the English Language)” was presented. The research was conducted in the specialty 10.00.04 — “Languages and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America and Australia” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology.

During the discussion, the researcher provided a detailed overview of the conducted studies, emphasizing their relevance and practical significance, and responded to questions from the members of the academic discussion.
