PhD Dissertation Successfully Defended

On May 13, at the 16th session of the Academic Council No. DSc.03.30.12.2019.Fil.27.01 under the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, Saodat Artiqovna Mannonova successfully defended her PhD dissertation in Philology on the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Comparative Linguistics, and Translation Studies. The dissertation is titled “The Communicative-Pragmatic Aspect of Official Communication (Based on Business Correspondence in English and Uzbek).”

The defense was attended by the university rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, official opponents, and members of the Academic Council. The research was positively evaluated for its theoretical approach and practical significance.
