Production meeting held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University: focus on implementation of Presidential Decree PF-58

On April 20, a production meeting was held at the rectorate building of Uzbekistan State World Languages University under the chairmanship of Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov. The meeting was attended by vice-rectors, rector’s advisors, deans of faculties, as well as heads of departments and divisions.

 

 

The main purpose of the meeting was to provide a comprehensive explanation of Presidential Decree PF-58, clarify the priority tasks outlined in it, and reach agreements on effective implementation.

In his speech, the rector emphasized that the decree is aimed at elevating the higher education, science, and innovation system to a new level, and outlined the key tasks facing the university community. Special attention was given to the “5T” principle, the “U10” program, the national ranking system, new mechanisms for financing scientific activities, and the development of digital education.

During the meeting, priority tasks included improving the quality of education, expanding international cooperation, attracting foreign students, and implementing scientific results into practice.

Additionally, preparations for April sports and spiritual-educational events, as well as efforts to create a healthy spiritual environment among students—especially female students—were discussed. Information on these issues was presented by First Vice-Rector V. Sadiyev.

Furthermore, proposals for admission for the 2026/2027 academic year and graduate employment issues were considered. Relevant information was presented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ch. Chutpulatov.

 

 

At the end of the meeting, specific tasks for implementing PF-58 were defined, and responsible officials were assigned to ensure their timely and effective execution.
