Professor from Brigham Young University (USA) Visits UzSWLU

On January 16, 2026, an official visit by Professor Tony Brown of Brigham Young University (USA) took place at Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The meeting was held on the 6th floor of the rectorate building.

The event was attended by UzSWLU Rector I. Tuxtasinov, Vice Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department H. Yuldashev, as well as Professor Tony Brown and Doston Saidov.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged detailed information about the activities of their universities, the educational process, and the conditions created for students. Issues related to establishing cooperation with Brigham Young University, academic exchange, joint projects, and promising initiatives in the field of education were also discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their mutual interest in developing cooperation and agreed to further strengthen collaborative ties in specific areas.
