2026-09-28 01-10 Professor of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages Participates in International Symposium in Georgia
Within the framework of the memorandum signed between Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Professor Gulnoz Iskandarovna Khallieva, Head of the Department of World Literature, is currently on a working visit to Georgia.
Professor Gulnoz Iskandarovna Khallieva is participating in the 18th International Symposium dedicated to current issues in the study of world literature. The symposium is organized jointly by the Georgian Association for Comparative Literature, the Shota Rustaveli Institute of Literature, and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The prestigious international event is also attended by scholars from leading universities around the world, including the University of Oxford, Harvard University, the University of Toronto, and Boston University.
As part of the working visit, meetings and negotiations are planned to further expand academic ties, strengthen international research cooperation, and develop interdepartmental academic relations.
