Today, the leadership of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), headed by Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, reviewed the progress of establishing the Ibrahim Gafurov School of Translation and Creative Writing at the Faculty of Translation.
During the visit, particular attention was paid to developing the center in accordance with modern standards, enriching its academic and creative content, and transforming it into a leading scientific, educational, and creative hub for young professionals pursuing careers in translation and literary creativity.
The Rector provided recommendations on designing each section of the School of Translation and Creative Writing through a content-rich, interactive, and innovative approach.

The School of Translation and Creative Writing is expected to become one of the country's important scientific and educational centers, promoting the rich scholarly and literary heritage of the distinguished translator and writer Ibrahim Gafurov, contributing to the development of translation studies, and enhancing the professional competence of young translators.
