QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026: A Significant Step Toward a New Stage

Uzbekistan State World Languages University has achieved notable success in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, marking the beginning of a new stage in its history.

In the field of Linguistics, the university improved by 50 positions compared to last year, ranking 201st among the world’s leading higher education institutions. This achievement reflects the steady development of its academic reputation, research capacity, and quality of education in linguistics.

Additionally, the university was ranked for the first time in the field of Modern Languages, securing the 301st position. This indicates growing international recognition in foreign language education and research.

Notably, this is the first time in the university’s history that it has been ranked in two subject areas simultaneously in the QS rankings. This highlights the strengthening of its position in the global academic landscape.

It is also important to emphasize that in Linguistics, the university achieved the highest ranking among higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.
