Recipients of Academic Degrees, Academic Titles and a State Award Honoured at the Meeting of the Council of UzSWLU

During Meeting No. 1 of the Council of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, the achievements of members of the university community in scientific and pedagogical activities were recognised.

During the meeting, professors, academic staff and employees who had obtained academic degrees and academic titles were duly honoured.

In particular, Zafar Abdumuminovich Norboev was congratulated on receiving a diploma conferring the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences in the speciality 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Upbringing and was presented with a laptop.

The following recipients received diplomas conferring the academic title of Professor:

Kamola Shuhratovna Muradkasimova — Acting Professor of the Department of “Methods of Teaching English No. 1”, Faculty of English No. 1, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (DSc);

Ulugbek Ravshanbekovich Yuldoshev — Dean of the Faculty of Translation Studies, Acting Professor of the Department of “Practical Translation of English”, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (DSc);

Sanjar Shavkatovich Saidov — Head of the Department of Political Sciences, Faculty of International Journalism, Acting Professor, Doctor of Political Sciences (DSc);

Muhayyo Tojiyevna Jumaniyozova — Acting Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty of English No. 1, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (DSc);

Hulkar Eliboyevna Muxammedova — Head of the Department of “Integrated English Course No. 2”, Faculty of English No. 2, Acting Professor, Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc);

Ixtiyor Ergashevich Umirov — Acting Professor of the Department of General Linguistics, Faculty of English No. 1, Candidate of Philological Sciences.

The following recipients received diplomas conferring the academic title of Associate Professor:

Valijon Alijonovich Sadiev — First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty of English No. 1, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences;

Ty Txi Kim Zung — Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Philology, Faculty of Oriental Philology.

In addition, Gulnoz Iskandarovna Hallieva was warmly congratulated on being awarded the “Shuhrat” Medal in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 21, 2026.
