“Rector and Youth” meeting held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University within the framework of Youth Day
On March 5, a meeting titled “Rector and Youth” was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University within the framework of Youth Day.
The meeting took place in the Assembly Hall of the university’s main building and was organized to support young people and listen to their ideas and initiatives. The event was held in accordance with the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to designate every Thursday as Youth Day.
The meeting was moderated by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work — Valijon Sadiyev.
During the event, the Rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, held an open and sincere dialogue with the students. Students shared their opinions and proposals regarding the quality of education at the university, scientific activities, opportunities being created for young people, and issues aimed at increasing students’ social engagement.
The Rector carefully listened to the students’ appeals, proposals, and concerns, and gave relevant instructions to responsible officials for their resolution. He also emphasized the importance of initiative, creativity, and active participation of young people in university life.
During the meeting, students had the opportunity to receive detailed answers to their questions and present new ideas and initiatives. The sincere dialogue further strengthened open and effective communication with young people.
More than 400 professors, tutors, and active students participated in the event. During the meeting, the opinions and initiatives of young people were heard, and an open dialogue was held on existing issues and proposals.
