2026-09-30 12-20 Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University Attends Reception Marking the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea
On September 29, a reception was held at the Korean House of Culture and Arts in Tashkent to celebrate the National Foundation Day of the Republic of Korea — Gaecheonjeol.
The event was organized at the initiative of Won Doyeon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, and his wife, Suh Yeonah.
Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, attended the reception. Representatives of state and public organizations, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the education and culture sectors also participated in the event.
Uzbekistan State World Languages University has been steadily developing cooperation with educational and research institutions of the Republic of Korea. In particular, cooperation is expanding in the fields of Korean language and culture studies, student and faculty exchanges, as well as the implementation of joint educational and research projects.
