2026-10-05 01-32 Rector of UzSWLU reviews construction progress of new student dormitory
Today, Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, together with responsible university staff, reviewed the ongoing construction works at the new student dormitory being built at 4 Zakovat Street, Tashkent.
During the visit, the current progress of construction, completed works, and upcoming tasks were reviewed. The Rector paid particular attention to ensuring that construction works are carried out in accordance with the approved project, that quality and technical requirements are strictly observed, and that the works are completed within the established deadlines.
The conditions to be provided for students in the new dormitory were also discussed, including accommodation rooms, recreation and study areas, engineering and utility networks, and the necessary infrastructure.
At the conclusion of the visit, the responsible staff were instructed to ensure the high-quality and timely completion of construction works, fulfil the identified tasks within the established deadlines, and commission the new student dormitory in accordance with modern requirements.
