2026-06-11 02-08 Rector of UzSWLU Spoke at a Panel Discussion in Spain
Within the framework of the first Uzbekistan–Spain University Rectors Forum, a panel discussion titled “Spanish Language, Culture, and Academic Cooperation” was held in Madrid.
The session addressed issues such as promoting the Spanish language and culture internationally, expanding academic cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Spain, developing student and faculty exchange programs, and establishing joint educational programs.
During the panel, the Rector of the Uzbek State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between universities of both countries, developing Spanish language education, expanding academic exchange programs, and implementing joint scientific and educational projects.
The Rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Bakhodir Kholikov, also participated in the panel discussion.
This session served as an important platform for advancing Uzbekistan–Spain educational cooperation to a new level and strengthening inter-university relations.
