At the initiative of A. Matyakubov, Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and Deputy Dean D. Khoshimova, a roundtable discussion was held among students on issues of cybersecurity and information security.

The event was attended by qualified specialists working within the ATSJOOB system of the Chilanzar District Department of Internal Affairs — Senior Lieutenant Eshpolatova Sevinch Akbarjon qizi, Senior Lieutenant Yuldashev Abdurashid Rustam o‘g‘li, and Lieutenant Mamatkulov Khayrulla Tursunpulatovich. The guests provided detailed explanations on cybercrimes occurring on the internet, the illegal dissemination of personal data on social media, online fraud, and combating misinformation.

In addition, during the discussion, students received important recommendations on following cybersecurity rules in daily life, protecting personal accounts, using strong passwords, and avoiding suspicious links. The meeting was held in an interactive format, allowing participants to receive clear and comprehensive answers from specialists to their questions.

This event played a significant role in enhancing young people’s digital literacy and developing skills for responsible and conscious behavior in the information space.
