2026-09-11 11-23 Scientific Seminar Discussion of a Dissertation
On September 9, 2026, a scientific seminar discussion of a dissertation submitted for the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) in Philology was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. The scientific seminar was organized in both in-person and online formats via the ZOOM platform.
The seminar focused on the dissertation prepared by Djamilya Rustamovna Abduganiyeva in the specialty 10.00.06 – “Comparative Literature and Translation Studies,” entitled “Hermeneutic Foundations of Translating Semantic Polysemy in the English-Russian Media Space.”
During the seminar, opinions and comments were exchanged regarding the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance, as well as the scientific conclusions presented in the dissertation. A question-and-answer session was held on the content and key aspects of the research, and recommendations and suggestions aimed at improving the dissertation were put forward.
The discussion was attended by the scientific consultant and reviewers of the dissertation.
At the conclusion of the scientific seminar, relevant conclusions and recommendations concerning the dissertation were formulated.
