Seminar-Training Held for Volunteer Interpreters of the Tashkent International Investment Forum
A seminar-training was organized at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University for volunteer interpreters who will participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The event was attended by representatives of the Office for Supporting Youth Innovative Initiatives under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, as well as university officials. They provided detailed information about the significance of the forum and the roles and responsibilities of volunteer interpreters.

The seminar was opened by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the university, Abdurahim Nosirov, who emphasized that the Tashkent International Investment Forum is one of the key events contributing to strengthening the country’s international reputation. He also noted that each volunteer interpreter plays an important role in representing Uzbekistan’s international image, hospitality, and culture.
During the training, participants were introduced to the forum program, organizational aspects, rules of communication with foreign guests, specifics of interpreting activities, as well as guidelines on ethics and dress code.
At the end of the seminar, students received answers to their questions and were provided with necessary instructions for their work at the forum.
