"Student Girls League–2025": Five Quarterfinalist Teams Announced

In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures for the comprehensive development of mass and professional football", the second round of the "Student Girls League–2025" futsal tournament, held among female university students, has concluded.

On Wednesday, May 21, the second-round matches were held in the sports hall of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. According to the schedule, 16 matches were planned, but due to some teams not showing up on time, technical defeats were recorded against them.

Additionally, the referee committee disqualified the following teams for missing two matches: "Technology" (Group D), "Science and Technology" (Group Gʻ), "Geology" (Group J), "Architecture", and "Management" (Group H).

Following the results of Round 2, five teams have already secured a place in the playoff stage:

• “Economics”

• “Dentistry”

• Tashkent State Pedagogical University (TSPU)

• Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports (UzSUPES)

• Uzbekistan State World Languages University-2 (UzSWLU-2)

The final group stage matches will be held on May 26 and 28.

Key results from May 21 matches:

• “Diplomacy” – TTESU-2 — 7:0

• UzSWLU-2 – “Conservatory” — 8:0

The tournament continues in a highly competitive spirit. The final round matches are expected to be decisive for all groups.
