STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL JOURNALISM VISIT THE STATE MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF THE TIMURIDS AND THE NATIONAL LIBRARY NAMED AFTER ALISHER NAVOI

To promote reading culture among young people and enrich their intellectual and spiritual outlook, students of the Faculty of International Journalism, accompanied by their tutor S. Ochilova, went on an educational excursion to the State Museum of the History of the Timurids and the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.

The students first visited the State Museum of the History of the Timurids, where they explored rare exhibits, manuscripts, and historical sources relating to the era of Amir Temur and the Timurid dynasty.

They then visited the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi. There, they received detailed information about the library’s extensive collections, modern reading rooms, access to electronic resources, and the operation of its information and library services.

Such educational and cultural activities play an important role in expanding students’ knowledge and skills, broadening their horizons, and encouraging a lasting interest in reading.
