Students of the International Journalism Faculty of Uzbekistan State World Languages University Visited the Customs Committee
The students first visited the Customs History Museum to gain initial insight into the history of customs operations, its goals, and tasks. During the tour, various exhibits related to the field were introduced, and their significance was thoroughly explained to the students.
The museum’s collection, showcasing the fascinating past of the customs service, left a positive impression on the students and once again emphasized how honorable and responsible the profession of a customs officer is.
Afterwards, the future journalists got acquainted with the activities of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Customs Committee.
During a lively and engaging Q&A session, the goals and responsibilities of the information service, modern-day requirements, and the crucial aspects of delivering timely, relevant, and trustworthy information to the public were explained using practical examples.
